One Pip Skirt - Summer and Winter Styling.

Today I have a post that was so fun to make.
One skirt styled two ways - one for summer so you can use it right away (well, at least if you like me live a place where summer is not over yet) AND a fall/winter styling for later (or now, again depending on where you live - see dear Australians I DO think of you :-)

The skirt is another slightly modified Pip Skirt from Jennuine Design. Previously I made THIS one.

I'm pretty sure the stripy cotton is from Fabric Mart but it seems to be sold out now.

I just have to tell you a funny story about this skirt in this fabric. I cut the skirt a morning last week and in the afternoon that same day I see THIS lovely dress from my Danish friend Trine from Groovy Baby and Mama on Instagram. Ha, how funny a coincidence is THAT!!
Of course we both agreed that great minds think alike, ha.

The summer styling is ultra simple and simply paired with a raglan tee and sandals.

Ahhhh, I love dressing for fall and winter.
The layering gives you so many more possibilities with textures and colors.

The sweater is Crewcuts and the leather boots are from the Danish brand Angulus - yes, bought at our summer vacation in Copenhagen. The kids are just waaaaiting for appropriate weather so they can wear them again - well, besides photo shoots of course!

Okay, I think this is it....last warm up post before Sewing for Kindergarten starts tuesday next week (Sep 2nd).

Let me just give you the schedule one last time in case you missed it the first time around.

See you soon!
Thank you!

  3. Wow! The fall outfit is so cool! How do people at Wilma's school react to these super chic outfits? Are they all like, "woah!" And how cute is she with those glasses???
