The Rowan Tee Plus Self-drafted Skirt.

Today I have a bit of a three-in-one post.
Mostly I want to tell you about The Rowan Tee from Titchy Threads designed by Laura (who is also blogging at Craftstorming) because that is an aaaaamazing pattern! Seriously!

But I have also made a self-drafted skirt which is a development from a pair of self drafted pants I made when I participated in Project Run & Play.
The skirt was supposed to be worn with The Rowan Tee but then big sister wanted to join the party so she got to wear it and will join this post further down.

Lastly I feel like I own to show you that thermal knit really is not that difficult to work with. If you read THIS post you will understand what I'm talking about.

From Dress to Shirt - Pattern Remix Tutorial

So like promised in yesterday's Mini Hudson Pants post here comes a mini tutorial on how you in a few easy steps can change the original dress pattern from the book Happy Homemade, vol 5 by Ruriko Yamada to this shirt.
Just to be clear you will need the book to make this shirt. I'm only giving you the information to the changes I did.

Mini Hudson Blog Tour

Unless my blog is the only one you read I do not think I have to introduce you to the Mini Hudson Pants, do I?!
They are these cool knit pants for kids, slightly baggy, side pockets and with tapered legs designed by the talented Kelli from True Bias.
I was truly honored to be invited to her pattern tour. Thank you Kelli!
