Groove Dress in Elvelyckan Fabric.

So It's been awhile since I posted last and let me tell you what I have been doing since then....trying to edit these photos, gah!

I don't know what is wrong with me but instead of just retaking the photos when I realized that the spot we took these photos were not as shady as I thought it was, I stubbornly tried to save them via editing. Gah GAH!

The one below is the one you can see the dress and print the best...then it goes downhill from there, haha. Consider yourself warned and now let's move on....

Sew Japan Guest Post from Petit a Petit and Family

Hello! Celina here, I am back sharing once again my Sew Japan, this time for the month of April. When Mie showed me the dress she was making for Petit a Petit and Family, I knew I wanted to make one too- naturally it's from my favourite Japanese Pattern book! I thought it would be fun if we both shared the same dress on the same day, hers on my blog and mine on hers. I hope you will find it as amusing as we do. I think it's fun to see how we each interpreted the style and pattern, how we each made it our own and how we both totally did not follow all the instructions in the book. Not that we can read any Japanese anyways! haha. Funnily enough we did end up making some similar changes.

The Inari Dress - Named.

I feel a bit like I'm the last sewing blogger on earth blogging the Inari Dress by Named.

Of course I'm not, but I'm definitely late for the party. BUT better late than never, right!

Cropped T-Shirt 03/2016 #103A - Burda Style Patterns.

Today I have a quick Burda Style project on the blog. A project that has caused me a lot of head scratching and wondering but it had nothing to do with the sewing.... I promise I will be back explaining that cliffhanger, ha.

It's a Burda Style pattern 03/2016 #103A Cropped T-Shirt.

I immediately fell for the simple cut but with some interesting details such as the significant hi-low hem and the big back pleat.

Savannah Button Down Shirt by Wardrobe by Me.

Today I have another pattern from Wardrobe By Me for you. This time the Savannah Button Down Shirt.

The Magrath Dress by Sew Much Ado.

Let's start by how we are feeling about this dress.

That was her idea with the heart by the way (but I do agree). And it's obviously double perfect because not only do we love it, it also imitates the cuuuute top-of-a-heart shape on the front bodice and bottom-of-a-heart on the back bodice. You are basically being hugged by a heart when you are wearing this dress.

Komi Kimono Jacket by Wardrobe By Me.

Hello, My name is Mie and I'm addicted to stripy fabric!

(And a little bit to sherpa too).

I have really been looking forward to show you this cardigan.

It's the Komi Kimono Jacket by Wardrobe By Me.
