So I used the LB polo pattern to shave off the top - looks like my instinct was right, thank you Mie!Francescahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03715570187712365610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522766518697175351.post-38387030596401574272019-08-21T13:56:52.979-04:002019-08-21T13:56:52.979-04:00You know, I have the Sapporo too and it's the ...You know, I have the Sapporo too and it's the first pattern I've intended to sew, I printed and taped it but found so many mistakes in the pattern, that I literally put it back down. I'm really disappointed in that pattern. One day I'll make a post about my findings. One day. ;-)Mie Brindlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07824547097298282641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522766518697175351.post-90605894265907493572019-08-20T18:50:20.707-04:002019-08-20T18:50:20.707-04:00I've sewn a couple of Papercut patterns now an...I've sewn a couple of Papercut patterns now and so far there always seems to be a little something I'm not super happy with in the drafting or sewing method- eg sleeves that are 100% symmetrical, front vs back, or the method of sewing sleeves to body in the Sapporo coat - but I'm not any kind of expert, and a lot of others do seem to get great results from their patterns. I should probably clarify- I'm very happy with my Sapporo but I would have a been happier without a big double thickness seam around the arm scye. I was thinking about making the Sapporo first, since I have just made a sweater that looks like the Kyoto using another pdf pattern (it turns out I didn't needed this pattern :) ) but now I think I'd better wait for you to make it first, just in case. :D <br />Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01244851356805982488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522766518697175351.post-70031427795607605672017-12-20T17:43:07.763-05:002017-12-20T17:43:07.763-05:00I have not sewn anything else yet...but I did also...I have not sewn anything else yet...but I did also buy the Sapporo Coat during the sale.
